An experience not to be missed for anyone enjoying wine and food in Georgia

点评：Baia's winery was recommended by a travel blogger (Wander-Lush). It was a terrific experience and I am so happy we stayed there. We arrived by GoTrip car, the driver had to stop and ask locals a few times to find the place, it can be difficult to find although once close, the road signs to the winery are very good. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, we were quickly sat down under a huge vine with a bottle of excellent white wine. The rooms a simple but comfortable. We went for a walk around the village, where a small herd of cows were taking themselves back from the fields. The vineyard/winery tour made by Baia was superb in very good English, the details of the growing, harvesting and the special Georgian wine making methods were fascinating. Then the beautiful home made meal was served, the quality was outstanding and the quantity of food and wine was more than ample. Breakfast the next morning was also very good. They ordered us a very good taxi to take us to Kutaisi. Everything about staying there and the overall experience of the winery was very special, I would highly recommend visiting for the tour and food, but staying overnight as well is even better.
