点评：I had an absolutely outstanding diving experience with Sam from Kalpitiya Diving Center in Trincomalee. Sam is a truly exceptional diver with over 30 years of experience, and his passion, professionalism, and focus on safety were evident from the very beginning. Before the dive, he thoroughly explained the equipment and compressor system — all of which were in excellent condition and very well maintained.
What impressed me most was how perfectly Sam tailored the dive to my preferences regarding both time and location. The dive planning was clear and detailed, and everything was carried out exactly as discussed.
We visited two incredible dive sites: Navy Island, with its stunning coral formations, and the Navy Museum, which featured two wrecks and even a sunken tank. During the surface interval, they were offered fresh water and melon — a refreshing and thoughtful touch. The water temperature in April was around 30–32°C, and the underwater scenery was breathtaking. We saw countless fish, schools of fish, vibrant corals, several moray eels, dive in caves and many more.
We even had the chance to dive into one of the wrecks — an exciting experience (though completely optional). Sam has been diving these spots since childhood and truly knows every rock and reef. He not only guided the dive with expert precision but also took amazing underwater photos throughout the experience.
As a generous bonus, Sam sends you the photos afterward — completely free of charge. Such dedication and thoughtfulness are rare and truly appreciated.
