点评:Throughout the years I have purchased many candles from Serendipity. In fact, I would say they were my candle makers of choice. Recently though I’ve had to rethink that review. I ordered 2 dragonfly wing candles as gifts. After I had ordered I received a message saying they did not have any dragonfly wing candles in stock and could I please choose another scent. I responded saying that had been purposely ordered to add to a dragonfly themed gift and I would like a refund. The next day I received another email saying that the candlemaker had agreed to make the scent I ordered and it would take an additional week to arrive. I agreed. When I received the candles, I immediately noticed a darkened discoloured “air pocket” at the front of each candle by the label that went almost the entire length of the candle. When I reached out to the company to express my disappointment, I was told that the picture I sent and my description merely described an event called flashing that was very normal. I explained my concerns and that the candles had been purchased as gifts and I was not happy with their appearance. How could I give a candle as a gift that had this large, very noticeable marking right at the front? I was repeatedly assured that this was normal and in fact viewed as a ‘happy’ occurrence that indicated the natural process of their candle making. Well I am not happy! I spent $25.95 plus tax on each candle and I expected them to look professionally made. I realize that during the pouring process small abnormalities may appear but these markings are very apparent. To-date I have received no acceptable solution to my concerns. In fact prior to posting my review, I sent one final plea asking if we could come to some sort of mutually agreeable arrangement. Days later I have received no response. From now on, I will definitely look for another company to purchase candles from.
