点评：My mom and I had a great time going to the Tenorio Volcano National Park and wildlife sanctuary with Conchal Adventures! Unfortunately, the Rio Celeste waterfall was inaccessible because of a major rainstorm right before we got to Costa Rica, so Kender offered us a few different options. Visiting the national park was important to us, so we chose a longer hike in the park to see the blue lagoon and other parts of the river. It was challenging for my mom, but the guide made sure she was safe and successful. We then swam in the blue waters in a spot we definitely would have never noticed without a guide! Our highlight was definitely seeing a baby sloth at the wildlife farm!!
We had an amazing day thanks to Kender, the driver, and their expertise in the area. We learned a lot about Guanacaste and we were really glad to support local businesses. Even though we were running later than expected (probably because of the longer hike), he made sure to stop somewhere on the way home so my mom could get some coffee as a souvenir. He also worked to make sure my mom had an appropriate gluten free lunch, which can always be a stressor when traveling with severe allergies. The lunch was also the best I’ve had on the trip — it tasted super fresh and high quality.
I’d recommend Conchal Adventures 100% for a really great day in the region. Kender knows what he’s doing and we felt great the whole day!
