Very neat cavern not far from Table Rock Lake

点评：Always saw signs and knew about the cavern, but never stopped. We had time, so we stopped and were glad that we did. The price was reasonable for the activities that were available at the cavern. There is quite a bit more than just the cave tour. There is mini golf, giant family games, nature trails, panning your own gems, etc. The cave tour is about an hour guided tour. It is suggested that you wear closed toe shoes due to terrain and wet surfaces. We wore our amphibious hikers. Flip flops and sandals will not work. Also, leave the bulky purses and bags locked in your car. All candy, gum, vapes, sodas are not allowed inside the cavern. Bottled water is, but if you pack it in you must pack it out. OR just wait until you come out of the cavern. Hang on to your sunglasses and phones also, so they don't get dropped! You learn the history of the cavern and see some pretty cool formations (about 6 different types). Our tour guide, Kendrick, was very knowledgeable with a sense of humor. He took time to answer all questions, no matter simple to complex. There is climbing steps, some steep. There is a narrow path. It is a comfortable cool 60 degrees in the cavern. Nice for a summer day. We did the spring house nature trail after the cavern tour, which was easy and not long. It was a very nice visit. Great for killing time and taking the kids or grand kids. Plenty of parking, but the road is narrow getting to the cavern itself. Not big rig or camper friendly.
