All zones are teeming with wildlife
Bandhavgarh National Park的点评
点评：This was my third trip to Bandhavgarh. Tala is still the most preferred zone although activity in Khitauli has increased dramatically since I was here last. The park has an old world feel to it. Bajrang was frequently found resting in the marshy area close to the Tala gate. I started my sightings with that of a young male tiger in this zone who came down to the track from the rocks above in dramatic fashion. I had never sighted a leopard before in this park but had two very good leopard sightings this time. The park has many birds of prey and I could photograph the Oriental Honey Buzzard, the Crested Serpent Eagle and the Shikra. Luckily, there were repeat sightings of Tara, the deceptive Tigress at Khitauli. We had a young Tigress cross the track in front of us, daughter of the buffer female and a shy young Tiger in a remote part of the park which was an exclusive sighting. Samrat was also sighted. The most languid and detailed sighting was of Jamhol, a relaxed male tiger. We spent a lot of time with him and it was one of the highlights of the trip. Apart from this Scops owls and a Brown fish owl were also sighted. It was a pleasure to return to Bandhavgarh where wildlife continues to thrive.
