Beautiful shop, disappointing customer experience

点评：The shop is lovely, gorgeous display of varying items. However, the rather short tempered and passive aggressive woman at the desk genuinely made my friends and I feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. A rather shame as we were specifically coming to buy flat decor and left being so disappointed by her odd behavior we didn’t want to give our money. My friends and I work full time in a 5 star hospitality job, so I suppose when we notice unnecessarily short behavior in an establishment we can’t help but notice it and be deterred by it. Her weirdness began when I picked up a candlestick holder to look at as I was interested in it, leaning on top of the candlestick was a non-delicate leather item that looked like an old dog muzzle or something of the sort- the point is it was not anything fragile whatsoever. As I was looking at the candlestick holder, the leather item fell (about 4 inches) onto the shelf. The woman asks us to be more careful, which is fair enough but I responded saying we were not being careless or inconsiderate, the decision she had made to place that item in that position was just precarious. We step about 2 steps away and she jots out from behind her desk and passive aggressively rushes to fix the item I suppose I didn’t put back in the exact positioning she would have preferred. All in all after that she was in no way shape or form welcoming. It’s wild to think it took something so minuscule and insignificant to ruffle her feathers enough to act like that to customers.
