点评:As a healthcare professional, I've always wanted to look inside this place and take a step back in time. Each time I've visited New Orleans, it hasn't been open when I've been there which was disappointing. This time I researched early and found out they are now offering guided tours on Sundays, which was perfect for me. I signed up online, which is a must as the museum is not open to regular walk-up visitors on this day, only the visitors pre-booked on the guided tour. Our guide was Grace, who is very passionate about the history of the pharmacy museum. More than this, Grace is a natural storyteller and has a touch of the thespian about her. She was incredibly engaging and captured the whole audience as we toured the museum exhibit. The building itself is worthy of a visit, the exhibits are fascinating and so too is the story of Louis Dufilho, the first licensed pharmacist in the United States.
