Egmont National Park Visitor Centre的点评
点评：I decided to freedom camp at the visitor's centre for the night and arrived late afternoon when it was warm and sunny with no snow other than what was further up the mountain. By evening thick snow was falling and the surrounding area was a true winter wonderland. Next morning was sunny again and the view of the mountain glowing pink in the sunrise was magical. A grader arrived early to clear the roads and the workers advised that I should wait until later in the day before driving out as the road could still be icy. I spent a lovely day enjoying crunching the new snow underfoot and watching car loads of families and tourists spilling out to play in the snow. Magic. Only downside was the local youth hooning about in their vehicles drifting in the icy/snowy conditions. This started early evening and continued on and off until about 1am when they finally left.
