Overall great place to learn and enjoy some skiing

点评：We stayed a little over a week in Are and had a great time. We were complete beginners so everything was new to us.
Some things were a bit more expensive than expected, but overall not terrible while on holiday and expected in some areas and slopes.
It's definitely aimed at the Swedish locals and from other cities, however everyone's English was impeccable and all around we found everyone friendly.
The best part for us was the beginners group class we did with Axel and Alex. They were super patient, knowledgeable and extremely professional when dealing with the group. Got quite a few tips to practice after each class and I felt like I progressed faster than expected with those. Axel even planned for our group to do the little kids slalom while they had an event for the kids, which was great fun! The kids, obviously, put us to shame..but no surprises there 🤣
