Tiger Kingdom Phuket的点评
点评：I will start by saying this is a difficult review to write, my partner and I visited in September 2025 on a very hot and humid day. Previously to going to Tiger Kingdom in Kathu we had read some very mixed reviews with a lot of people saying the tigers looked drugged. We visited as it had been a dream of my partners to touch a tiger.
My thoughts on the day;
Firstly, the tigers were most certainly not drugged many were up and about, moving and playing. They mainly looked hot and some were sleeping - can you blame them in humid 35-40 degree heat?
Secondly, the ‘kingdom’ is very small, what did make me feel sad is that the tigers are all on display in small enclosures, and the ones for photos/touching are sometimes in multiple tiger grassy enclosures. The amount of room the ‘on display but not for touching’ tigers had made me feel sad as is was effectively a small cage, no grass or real room to move.
Thirdly, the photo tigers are all sitting in shaded locations on some concrete or a table, they all looked fairly content but they all had their ‘handlers’ with them with some sticks and string attached to the end of it, all were trying to get the tigers to look up or move. One handler said ‘pick her tail up’ and knowing my cat at home would like it, I said no thank you to the tail touching or lying on the back - Just felt forced and not completely right for the tiger. However, the handlers do make sure you are safe and do offer to take group pictures, which all turned out amazing. Don’t bother paying for the photographer, we looked and his pictures were blurry.
Overall, we had a nice day and dream for filled, we paid for the ‘Big+Small’ package and the Cheetah meet. The tigers all looked well cared for and did not appear in distress or drugged. I did however feel sad for amount of space they had and the somewhat sad suggestions of picking up the tiger tails and forcing movements.

第三，照片里的老虎都坐在混凝土或桌子上阴凉的地方，看起来都很满足，但旁边都有“驯兽师”在它们旁边，他们用棍子和绳子绑在老虎的尾巴上，试图让老虎抬头或动一动。一位驯兽师说“把尾巴抬起来”，我知道我家的猫会喜欢的，所以我拒绝了，因为尾巴碰老虎或放在老虎背上——感觉很勉强，对老虎来说不太合适。不过，驯兽师会确保你的安全，并主动提出拍摄集体照，效果非常棒。不用花钱请摄影师，我们看了看，他的照片很模糊。
总而言之，我们度过了愉快的一天，梦想成真了，我们支付了“大+小”套餐和猎豹见面会的费用。老虎看起来都得到了很好的照顾，没有表现出痛苦或被下药的样子。然而，我为它们拥有的空间感到难过，也为那些让人觉得要抬起老虎尾巴并强迫它们活动的建议感到难过。
