点评：Booked online and three hours later — once I’d already arrived — they suddenly claimed the sea was “too rough.” Strange, considering other boats were clearly running that same day and throughout the week, with zero changes in weather conditions.
They gave me two choices: a full refund (leaving me to sort my own way) or take their “replacement” mini van… which, conveniently, had Bundhaya Speed Boat branding on it. That tells you this isn’t a rare situation — it’s likely a common fallback.
What’s really happening? They charge 1,200 THB for a boat trip, then stuff you into a 350 THB van and pocket the difference. During low season, when they don’t get enough bookings to run the boat, it’s probably cheaper for them to send small groups by van and blame “weather.” Be careful — it’s a bait-and-switch wrapped in an excuse
