Anyway, my wife and I visited that stupendous place in late May. That was a once-in-a-lifetime-experience, my God!
They structured the tour like a two-stage performance. First, came a thorough account of that popular Russian folk instrument that we Russians call garmoshka. After that, they put on a presentation in which a professional virtuoso musician used a variety of squeezeboxes to perform a range of melodies, from Russian chastushkas (a short rhymed lyrical or humorous song) to classic tunes. The cherry on top was Deep Purple's Smoke on the Water, played through special sound effect electronic addons! Mind-blowing!
They spoke Russian, of course, but I think English is also an option. Just check.
A must when in Tula! This is the city where one of the most famous Russian squeezeboxes was invented and is currently manufactured, by the way.
