点评：What a magical place! We did a full day tour organised through Le Meridien IDP - where we were picked up from the hotel and transferred to Ouro Lodge on the south side of IDP. The boat skipper met us there - his English was limited but we were able to communicate fine.
Firstly he took us by boat to Turtle Bay and then the surrounding waters - we saw a turtle and two Manta Rays. Then he took us to Brush Island - where we stayed about 4 hours.
Brush Island has one of the most beautiful beach and waters I have ever visited. It is in protected waters so no ocean currents. But the snorkelling is average - just a small variety of fish. But the warm still waters and soft white sands were unbelievable.
Our boat skipper cooked us a lobster and fish lunch over a fire stove. Then we hung around until mid afternoon when he took us straight back to Ouro Lodge bay which took only 15 minutes.
When we were at Brush Island, two other boats came. But they both left after 1-1.5 hours so we had the whole beach to ourselves for a few more hours. Just magical!
The full day trip allows for 4 hours on Brush Island with your choice of lunch (lobster/fish/chicken/vegetarian). The half day tour only gives you 1.5 hours on the island and no lunch (and no private island experience) - you will return at 1230pm to IDP.
I would recommend the full day tour - just to soak in the magic of Brush Island - there is not much to do - but we alternately swam, snorkelled, slept, walked and we were still sad to leave.
An unbelievable place - I highly recommend a visit!
