点评：My second (and not last!) visit to Arizcuren. A fantastic urban winery in Logroño run by Javier and his excellent team.
This tour was fantastically run in English by David, and I learnt even more about their wines and production this time round. They are getting better and better as time goes on, as are their wines.
A very small producer, but what they lack in quantity, they far surpass in quality. Grapes are harvested in the Sierra de Yerga mountains in the newly renamed Rioja Oriental (nee. Baja) and transported 45mins to their urban bodega for making into wine.
You won't find a Crianza or Reserva here (yet..?) but they are experimenting with fermentation and storage to produce exceptional young wines, bursting with life and flavour.
A must visit for any wine lover, and deserves a serious detour to get there!
