点评：Absolutely incredible! I can’t recommend Trekking Orangutan Sumatra tours enough. My partner and I did their 3-day jungle trek with airport pickup, and from start to finish, it completely exceeded our expectations.
From the moment we landed at the airport, we were taken care of. Our driver was so lovely, and the ride to Bukit Lawang was super comfortable. We even stopped at an amazing local restaurant for dinner along the way—such a nice touch.
The guesthouse in Bukit Lawang was great—super comfy and perfect for getting a good night’s rest before the adventure began.
Now, the trek itself? Unreal. We saw so many orangutans and monkeys, and our guide, Nurdin, was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the jungle, its wildlife, and plants, but he was also hilarious. After dinner at the campsite, he even entertained us with some seriously impressive card magic tricks. Such a fun guy!
The jungle camp was breathtaking—right by the river, where we could bathe and swim after a sweaty day of hiking (absolute heaven). The food was beyond amazing—generous portions, tons of tropical fruit, and they even catered for vegetarians. We even got given tea and biscuits by the river!
What really sets them apart is that they’re one of the few locally owned tour companies in the area, and they actively give back to the community. On our last night, Bendy, the owner, invited us to his home for dinner with his family. They were the sweetest, and honestly, the fish we had there might’ve been the best we’ve ever eaten.
I can’t think of a single bad thing to say about this company or the experience. If you’re trying to decide who to book with, stop looking—you’ve found them!
