Path to Adventure的点评
点评：This was our second time with Al at path to adventure so that should give confidence to any aspiring adventurist!
After an enjoyable half day canoe and bushcraft in November, we again returned in December with the whole family-including the dog!- for two days of activities.
Day one was a full day of canoe and bushcraft which was tailored to our requirements. We opted for lots of bushcraft as we have a young bear grylls in the making!
After we canoed up the lake for a while we pulled ashore and set to with our bushcraft. Fire making using different techniques, hot chocolates and home made pizzas were on the menu…and they were tasty!
Back in the canoes we continued up stream until we reached the tarn and then returned down stream using a sail which was fun!
Day two was half day abseiling which some of our party were not too keen to hear! Nevertheless though, Al was brilliantly patient and achieved what i thought was unachievable …getting the whole family to participate. Despite being petrified, they were led down the abseil by Al and afterwards were so glad they had done it!
As always, huge thank you to Al for the experience, patience and an enjoyable time and also to Heather for making our booking as smoothly as possible!
Ps…Ghyll scrambling is on the cards for next year!
