Parkes Aviation Museum - HARS的点评
点评：If you are into Aviation history this is a fantastic option. Lots of old aircraft and all the paraphernalia that goes with them. A remarkable museum where you are not permitted to wander around aimlessly but instead are treated to a guide who has had a career in aviation in some form or other.
Our guide David was actually from USA but had moved to Australia and had what seemed like an encyclopaedic knowledge of the aircraft most of which were still airworthy.
The highlight for us was the Constellation from the 50’s and the 747 of more recent times both of which we boarded. A real eye opener.
What made it for me is that you are watching all the volunteers at work while you are being guided around. Fantastic.
We were there mid-week so on weekends there may be less activity but nevertheless this place is well worth a couple of hours.
