An authentic Lapland evening we will never forget

点评：Our experience with Kimi was one of the highlights of our trip to Rovaniemi.
He picked us up from our accommodation and welcomed us to a truly authentic Finnish evening. The whole experience felt warm, personal, and genuine from the start.
We enjoyed a traditional Finnish sauna, followed by ice dipping in the lake and relaxing in the jacuzzi under the Arctic night sky. Sitting outside in the cold while after the sauna while looking at the snowy forest was an unforgettable feeling.
Kimo also prepared an incredible meal for us by the fire. We had reindeer meat, fresh salad, potato salad, and delicious local smoked specialties including smoked salmon, smoked reindeer, and a wonderful local cheese made by a friend of his. Everything was homemade and absolutely delicious.
Beyond the food and activities, what made the evening special was Kimo himself. He is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we spent the evening talking and learning more about Lapland and Finnish culture.
If you are visiting Rovaniemi and want something more personal than a typical tourist activity, this is truly a wonderful experience.
