点评：The two days Ron Freeman designed for us could not have been better…except for rain! We only wanted to go to Churchill Downs and to horse farms… no distilleries, so Ron set up a great itinerary. Our driver Jason was wonderful…took excellent care of us, always on time or early. Ron couldn’t have picked a better or more personable driver/guide for us.
We spent one day at Churchill Downs with seats in Stakes Tavern where we could watch inside or walk out to watch the races. It included a buffet lunch which was excellent. We also spent a lot of time at the Kentucky Derby Museum and gift shop. The second day Jason drove us to tour 3 horse farms, 2 in Lexington area and one closer to Louisville. We ate box lunches from The Cafe on the way back to Louisville…Jason had picked those up before picking us up.
We changed our time 45 minutes earlier to leave at Churchill Downs and Jason was parked nearby so we did not have to wait.
Ron had also recommended the AC Marriott hotel in the NULU area as a good, safe place to stay, and it was. We could walk to restaurants easily.
