★★★★★ 12 days, 4 kids, one exceptional driver — Mr. Ravi

点评：We're an Irish family of six (kids 11, 9, 8 and 5) and spent 12 days touring Sri Lanka with Visit In Lanka in July 2026 — Wilpattu, Trincomalee, Habarana, the tea country and down to Negombo. Booking was straightforward and refreshingly trusting: transparent fixed price, no deposit, pay at the end. Tiron in the office was responsive throughout, and the vehicle was a genuine positive surprise — a new KDH high-roof with lots of comfy seats and proper rear AC, plus a child seat provided for our 5-year-old.
But the reason for five stars is Mr. Ravi. I would not advise tourists to drive themselves in Sri Lanka — it's a different way of doing things on the road, and it requires real skill. Ravi has it in abundance: after one particularly hairy stretch of winding roads in the high mountains, our kids gave him a round of applause. With four children aboard we never once felt unsafe. He quietly saved us money all trip: his local jeep contact did our Minneriya safari (100+ elephants) for roughly half the hotel's quoted price. He adapted daily without fuss, respected our rest days, and never once steered us anywhere we didn't want to go.
Ravi went above and beyond to give us the best possible experience along the way — when our daughter needed stitches removed, he found contacts to take care of it so we could get back to our holiday in minutes, not hours. He was ever present, and as a result we have more full family photos from our trip than ever before. He made every effort to explain the history and context of all the sights we saw along the way.
When asked what the highlights of our trip were, our kids said "Mr. Ravi." If you're touring Sri Lanka as a family, ask for Mr. Ravi by name.
