Grenada Golf and Country Club的点评
点评：9 Holes go round twice off different Tee locations. Our game came free as we stayed at a local hotel for 14 days, so only had to pay for cart hire (no buggies), club hire and as our first time on the course a caddie. Caddie for 18 is $28 US (Cash) and for 2 carts and 2 sets of clubs came out at £41.00 GBP for both sets.
The is almost nothing in the pro-shop area apart from a few towels.
We took our own Tee, Balls and Glove and trainers are OK.
We were set up for 18 holes but after only 4 holes we decided that 9 would be enough for more than a few reasons apart from the heat.
1) The course is not in great shape Tee to Green on most holes, the Bermuda Grass is very tough and grabs the club heads.
2) It is quite hilly and even as a reasonably fit person found it a struggle and you have to leave carts on some fairways and climb to the next Tee.
3) The course is between St Georges and Anse Beach so you have a sea view either end of the course, which is in a valley / dip.
4) The cart was OK, but the Clubs were really old and battered with shiny / torn grips and battered heads.Difficult to hold clubs with almost no grip on that grass. My Driver was a Hippo and I haven't seen one of those in years! I have attached a photo of my 7 Fairway Wood.
If you fancy a round with no frills then this is for you.
Our Caddie was good and knew the greens well.
We usually play twice when away on holiday and have played in many countries all around the world, unfortunately this only got us for 9 holes.
