Sumatra and Berastagi Adventure are Fantastic

点评：14 Day Northern Sumatra Adventure.
This was a fantastic trip. So many highlights, jungle trekking, volcano hike, local restaurants, Palambak Island. We had 2 guides with us for the majority of the tour, Hendra and Konong with our great driver Risky. For the jungle trekking we were joined by Henry who put himself between us and a charging orangutan. All 4 were lovely and really passionate about the tour and Sumatra. We felt nothing was too much trouble for them. An example was during our stay at Palambak, when Konong had free time he would help other guests including taking a young lad fishing rather than just chilling. They also arranged a cake and meal for our son’s birthday. On the river raft after the jungle trekking we were a caterpillar landed on our sun causing a horrible itchy rash as soon as we got ashore they took charge and used turmeric and salt to calm the itching
This is the only tour we’ve been on where several more meals were included than mentioned in the itinerary. The hotels we stayed at were all good and mostly great. In the evenings it was a perfect mix of them taking us to places and also leaving us to do our own thing.
This is a holiday and guides which will stay in our memories for a long time and we can’t wait for the photographs they took to be shared with us. Sumatra is a great place and this company made it everything we could wish for.
