Emu Logic Farm is a charming and unique stop located in a peaceful rural setting on the edge of Warrumbungle National Park, between the small towns of Coonabarabran and Tooraweenah.
The farm is home to around 1,200 emus and offers visitors a chance to get up close with both young and adult birds. One of the highlights is hearing the owner share fascinating stories about emu farming and life in the region. You can also meet Max the kangaroo, a friendly resident of the farm.
The on-site shop features a wide range of locally produced items, including pure emu oil, emu jerky and steaks, emu eggs, and decorative empty eggs. There’s also a selection of souvenirs and handmade dream catchers crafted with emu feathers, making it a great place to pick up something unique.
Emu Logic is part of the Henley family’s mixed grazing property, located about 20 km north of Tooraweenah along the national park road. In addition to browsing the shop, visitors can now enjoy guided tours of the farm, offering a deeper insight into local agriculture and emu farming practices.
The farm shop, which showcases both Emu Logic and other local products, as well as an informative display about regional farming, is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm (until the end of October).
