点评：La Patrona Polo Club aka Tierra Tropical Polo, is a stunning, architectural equestrian center in San Pancho, Riviera Nayarit, Mexico. I have visited several times, different months. They have world class polo teams compete, and host Sunday brunch during 'high season' (usually November to May). They offer horse riding and polo lessons as well. I attended an evening event, live DJ, trendy, hip atmosphere.
The facilities are beautiful, the horse barn is state-of-art, the horse exercise pool and all the facilities are first class. Local owners board horses here & polo teams from around the world compete during polo season.
This facility is owned by Tierra Tropical and is locally referred to as La Patrona. They also operate a resort style beach club & restaurant in San Pancho, known as Tierra Tropical Beach Club. The two facilities are architectural masterpieces, are apx. 1/2 mile from each other, and share the same attentive staff.
La Patrona Polo Club is open to the public and is a seasonal venue. High season November - April/May is when you will see polo games. Check their Instagram or website for schedule updates and info. This is a seasonal facility.
La Patrona Polo Club is worth experiencing.... Yes, it is possible to walk from San Pancho town, however, I suggest a short taxi ride over the cobblestoned, dirt roads, up and down hills.... well worth it!
If you attend a polo game, bring a blanket to sit on the grass, hat, sunglasses. Enjoy!
