From the very start, everything was seamless. Before departure, we were clearly briefed on what to bring (and what not to bring), so we felt well-prepared for the adventure ahead.
Our pickup at Pangkalan Bun Airport was smooth—Mas Hery, our guide, greeted us with a big smile and our name board in hand, ready to lead us into the journey.
The klotok boat itself was beyond expectations—like a floating boutique hotel, with a cozy bed and spotless bathroom. It felt like comfort drifting through the jungle.
The food was absolutely mouthwatering—every meal a feast. Huge shoutout to Bu Yati, whose cooking was nothing short of perfection!
The highlight, of course, was the journey to the orangutan feeding camps. Cruising along the mysterious black river, spotting wildlife along the way, and listening to Mas Hery’s clear and passionate explanations made every encounter unforgettable.
Overall, this trip was nothing less than magical. If Tanjung Puting is on your list, I 1000% recommend this team—they’ll turn your adventure into a memory you’ll treasure forever!
