Darnley's Gin的点评
点评：Really enjoyed the whiskey tour. The staff and guide were so welcoming and knowledgeable.
After the tour and tasting of 3 whiskeys, we were also asking about the Gin that is made there. The staff gave us loads of information (above and beyond) on how they make gin and were given a drop to try.
For anyone driving or maybe just 'a little early' they gave out little jars so the ample samples could be taken away and enjoyed later.
I did learn the difference between Highland and Lowland. Darnleys is Lowland, soft, smooth, light, and floral. Highland is rich, smoky, and peaty. personally I not so keen on peaty, smoky. The Whiskeys were just to my pallet as was the gin.
We did purchase a few bottles of whiskey and gin because it was so good but most of all I'm writing this review because the staff made us feel so welcome.
