Concerning Information Regarding a Guide Currently Working Here

点评：I am sharing this based on my personal experience, in the hope that it helps other travelers make informed decisions.
Some time ago, I had direct experience with a guide who, to my knowledge, is currently working within the tourism industry and collaborating with multiple companies. To my understanding, he is also currently working with this company.
During my experience, I encountered serious concerns regarding professionalism, transparency, and safety. There were two separate driving incidents, which raised significant concerns about safety. I was also asked to cover unexpected costs due to the guide’s personal financial situation.
In addition, I later discovered through hotel staff that I had been misled regarding hotel payments.
At the time, I chose not to speak out immediately. I gave multiple opportunities and waited, hoping the situation would be addressed in some way. However, nothing changed.
Recently, I learned that he continues to work actively as a freelance guide with various companies, which led me to decide to share this experience.
I have already raised my concerns about this guide with this company.
While my experience was not directly with this company, I believe it is important to highlight the importance of proper guide verification and accountability within the tourism industry.
Uganda is a beautiful country, and I sincerely hope for higher standards of professionalism, transparency, and responsibility.
I strongly encourage travelers to carefully verify the credentials and background of any guide before booking.
