点评:This was hands-down one of the most memorable experiences of our trip! The Garden Tour and Cookery Class at The Tower offers the perfect mix of history, nature, and hands-on fun. The garden is absolutely stunning – peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of fascinating plants and trees. Our guide was fantastic: friendly, passionate, and full of insight into the plants and sustainable practices. We started our tour with the perfumer taking us through the scents and fragrances growing near the house, linking them to famous perfumes. Our hostess Isabelle then started us on our garden tour of vegetables, fruits, herbs and spices and left us in the capable hands of Chef Belinda to collect many exciting new plants to include in our lunch dishes.
The cookery class was equally incredible. We used fresh ingredients from the garden to create a delicious meal of creole fish, coconut polenta and kaliloo, with the help of a skilled and engaging chef and her team. It was relaxed, informative, and so enjoyable – we even got to sit down at the main dining table in the house and savor what we made with Belinda and Isabelle !
We were regaled with stories of Isabelle’s family history in Grenada.
The setting at the tower added such a special atmosphere, blending natural beauty with historic charm. If you’re visiting the area and want to do something unique, inspiring, and delicious, don’t miss this. A truly unforgettable experience!
