点评：I was always very curious about hippopotamuses, but I had never before seen this animal with my own eyes. I looked up nearby venues which housed hippopotamuses, and this aquarium in Camden was by far the closest location. I paid approximately $109.00 in advance for the ability to experience the hippopotamus encounter. This fee was definitely expensive for approximately thirty (30) minutes of this experience, which also included a picture of me from a professional photographer and a painting from a hippopotamus’s nose. I did not have the option to visit the rest of this aquarium for no additional fee under this encounter, but it was still a great experience. I learned basic information about these hippopotamuses, and then we were able to feed them vegetables by throwing these vegetables into their mouths from quite a distance away. These animals later ate an abundance of hay.These hippopotamuses were gigantic, and we certainly stood very far away from them. Obviously, people cannot touch these hippopotamuses due to the dangers and territorial aggressions that they present, and this aquarium did a great job with the placement of large metallic gates to prevent any harmful incidents. This package did include free parking, and there was a parking lot across the street from this aquarium, but I found free street parking. I felt safe in this part of Camden during the daylight hours. The Delaware River waterfront area abuts this aquarium. Any participants of this activity could not wear open-toed shoes, and all cellular telephones needed to be put away.
