点评：Continuing review in response to the company’s feedback.
Francis has not responded to recent emails requesting receipts of where the funds for my trip went. I have not received any receipt whatsoever just a table of estimates. I have not received receipts from the accommodation he booked.
Francis admitted in emails that he had overcharged me and offered a refund which has not been met or delivered.
I paid for all his meals and he made no attempt to pay for his own. This made me feel uncomfortable as a lone female traveller reliant on him and his unreliable van that wouldn’t start and broke down from the very start. Time was wasted waiting for it to be fixed.
I was charged for 8 days with an extra days fees overcharged when I only spent 7 days in Uganda.
I have attached the WhatsApp message in photos below to prove that he asked me to loan him money to fulfil commitments to his next client. Unprofessional and demonstrates he was paying as he went.
This is not an attempt to ruin a company but to obtain a refund of the overcharges he admitted. These include 1 flight to Kisoro, food for him, extra day charged, gorilla permit deposit for guest who could not attend (as stated I believe he used this for himself as he did the gorilla trek with me) and fuel costs that he claimed but has never proved he spent.
I am well travelled and have never had to complain about any other tour company etc before. This experience was shocking.
The response is inaccurate at best.
