点评:Mr Thin, our guide picked us up at 5:30am and we were driven to see the monks from various local temples in their orange robes, make their way down the street, collecting alms (food and other offerings) from villagers. We were given a rice bowl and encouraged to do the same.
So began our extensive tour of Luang Prabang.
I have to say it was thorough. We were guided through the local market as it opened, sitting with the locals having breakfast (to someone from the UK, these were some very alien dishes eg Khao Soi and Or Lam but they were extremely tasty.)
Our driver kept us well supplied with cool hand towels and water throughout the day.
We visited two local temples and a museum and were taken for lunch (at additional cost) at a very nice picturesque restaurant.
Mr Thin was knowledgeable about all things LP and spoke good English.
I would recommend the tour but would advise headwear if travelling during the summer months.
Recommended!

Thin
