点评：I don’t usually leave harsh reviews, but Taxi Nerano Valestra deserves this warning. These people are crooks, plain and simple.
We arranged an airport transfer on our last day — and they knew it was our final ride before leaving Italy. About 20 minutes into the trip, the driver suddenly said, “my boss says cash only,” even though we had discussed card payment ahead of time. With our luggage in the car and no real choice, we were trapped.
To make things worse, the price to the airport was double what we had paid just a few days earlier coming from the airport to our villa. No explanation, no meter, just a blatant rip-off.
The whole thing felt like a setup — they knew we couldn’t back out or risk missing our flight. It was dishonest, predatory, and left a really bad taste after what had been a beautiful trip.
Do yourself a favor: avoid Taxi Nerano Valestra at all costs. There are plenty of honest drivers in the area — this company is not one of them.
