点评：Our four-day hike through the Usambara Mountains with Richard was an unforgettable experience. From the very first day to the last, he guided us with warmth, kindness, and genuine attentiveness, making sure we felt well looked after at all times.
Richard shared an incredible amount of knowledge about the region’s flora and fauna, its trees, culture, and people, enriching every hike with fascinating insights. We were especially impressed by his deep connection to the Usambara Mountains and the respect he shows for both the local people and the natural environment.
With great care, Richard chose diverse and beautiful hiking routes, taking us to stunning places where we could stop, relax, and spend the night. The lodges he selected were equally special and perfectly reflected the diversity and unique character of this remarkable region.
Another highlight was our visit to the NGO Friends of Usambara. Here Kelvin, expert from the tree nursery, introduced us to the organization's inspiring work in environmental and climate protection, while also supporting local communities through social initiatives and educational projects centered around tree planting. This experience added a truly meaningful dimension to our journey.
Our guide was always attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about our well-being. Our conversations with him were enriching, and it was wonderful to see the warmth and respect with which he interacted with his fellow community members.
