What we caught on a late start for the day

点评：Late start to the day so we targeted two outdoor spots with an evening train back to Nagoya.
We took the Kintetsu from Nagoya to Iseshi (M73) on the line using the railpass and top up for Limited Express. This option cost more to save on Time and remove transfers.
To save time, we took lunch on the train with wholesome Bento set.
At Iseshi, we visited the outer shrine. This is a short walk from the station along a stretch of shops. The venue is small but
very very lovely and cooling with lots of shade. It’s a wonderful way to spend an hour or less there before heading to the next spot.
Meteo-Iwa was second on the list. We wanted to take the CanBus but we were discouraged from buying the ticket as it was too late in the day. The staff felt it was a waste of money.
The staff provided us with an alternative route, which in honesty was cheaper and was quicker
1. Take the JR Line from Iseshi to the next station Futaminoura. The fare is ¥210Yen per adult and it was a 6mins ride.
2. From the Futaminoura station, its a 15mins walk and mid-way, there are pathway to lead you to the Beach Front (Instead of the Street/Shop front). We spotted a shaved ice shop but being a Sunday and one of the few shops open, the que was long!
3. Important - Check the timing for the return train, as it is a very quiet and quaint village. The train frequency differs on Weekday and Weekends.
