Thiruchendur Murugan Temple的点评
点评：A little over a decade ago, my family planned to visit the Sri Murugan temple, Tiruchendur, in July 2025. We were shocked to see such a massive crowd, uncontrolled, standing in long queues without any shelter. The Queues had started as early as at 3 am, and the time taken for darshan was more than 8 - 9 hrs. There are no boards or signs to indicate anything related to temple darshan. One has to contact the Security or Police personnel posted everywhere. More shocking was, a few priests were taking the devotees inside through the VIP gate for a price which can not be quoted here. Instead of these back gate entries, the Temple administration itself could have made different tickets with different prices and could have earned income. I am sure thousands of devotees would have returned without having darshan of Lord Sri Muruga like me on the day we visited the temple. I have even visited Shirdi and Tirupati many times, and the crowd management is simply excellent at both places. Tiruchendur temple administration should visit these places and copy their systems to provide peaceful darshan to every devotee and earn a good income.
