A Serene Morning at Rameshwaram Temple: A Spiritual Journey

点评：I had the opportunity to visit the revered Rameshwaram temple. For a complete darshan experience, the process begins with the Mani Darshan, held between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM, with the queue commencing as early as 3:30 AM.
There are two options for darshan: a normal darshan priced at ₹50 and a special darshan for ₹200. We chose the special darshan, which allowed us to be very close to the Sacred Mani. Following this sacred viewing, the next step is to proceed to Agni Theertham for a holy dip.
Subsequently, one needs to visit the 22 Kunds for another series of baths, accessed through a different gate with an entry fee of ₹25 per person. At this gate, priests offered to be guide for the bath for a fee of ₹250. Based on my experience, opting for the priest's guidance is highly recommended. With the regular ₹25 ticket, the treatment might not be as satisfactory, and you might not receive a proper bath. The experience of the 22 Kund snan was truly remarkable, where priests pour water on you from each kund using buckets.
Once the 22 Kund snan is complete, we changed clothes. There are convenient locker rooms available for ₹50 per person where you can store your belongings like clothes, mobiles, and shoes, and also change Clothes. After changing, we proceeded to the main Shiv Jyotirlinga temple. Here too, we opted for the special darshan, costing ₹200 per person, which allowed us a close and quick darshan, taking only about 5 minutes.
In total, we commenced our temple visit at 3:30 AM and completed all the rituals by 7:00 AM. It was a truly enriching and well-organized spiritual experience.
