点评：This is for November.
I did darshan in the evening and pooja in the morning.
Evening 1630
Entered through East gate (main gate, near ocean).
There was no crowd, and therefore everyone asked me not to buy the vip darshan ticket. The whole darshan was over in 20 mins. There was no requirement to go to 22 wells. No restrictions on attire also.
Morning 0430
My driver dropped me in west gate. THERE IS NO ENTRY AT West Gate in the morning. I was kind of stuck as to what my options would be, when I saw Pandit ji escorting people through this gate. So I approached one and asked for pooja (I had already planned for pooja). So if you want only darshan you can go through East gate only.
The whole pooja is divided into 3 parts.
Part 1 - Mani Darshan (which is the shivling itself)
Part 2 - visiting 22 wells. The pandit insisted that we should go to the wells (at extra cost) for purification. Again, if you want only darshan, this part can be avoided.
Part 3 - Pooja. Unlike many other Jyotirlings, you cannot do pooja inside the garbh grah here. You would simply give all the things and hand it to pandit ji, you would do abhishek on your behalf. You can still do it through normal line also, but you would be little farther away from pandit ji.
After this, you are taken to Parviti maa temple. Then few more temples and then you exit. Took us a total of 2.5 hours.
Worth it.
