点评：Walking along Kokusai-dori is one of the easiest ways to get a feel for Naha. It’s busy, colourful, and constantly changing, with souvenir shops, cafés, snack stands, and small side streets pulling you off course every few metres.
The street is flat and easy to walk, which makes it ideal for wandering without a plan. You’ll pass everything from traditional Okinawan shops selling shisa and local snacks to modern chains, ice cream counters, and street performers. It’s lively during the day and even more so in the evening, when the lights come on and the pace slows into more of a stroll.
What makes Kokusai-dori worth walking rather than just passing through is how much variety it packs into a short stretch. You can dip into markets, stop for food, browse souvenir shops, and still feel like you’re seeing everyday city life mixed in with tourism.
