Very bad experience, Muy mala experiencia
Basque Country Bike的点评
点评：As two engineers and a doctor, we make it a point to support local tourism by booking with small, local agencies when we travel. That's why we opted for Basque Country Bike. However, our experience with them was nothing short of disappointing. Upon delivery, we were handed a bike with a visibly broken gear (see attached photo), forcing us to stop several times to fix it during our 3 days trip. Despite immediatly notifying Basque Country Bike, they responded after 1.5 days very dismissive, placing blame on us and offering no solution beyond a casual "bad luck" and some photos of a bike shop we could stop by in Santander.
Returning the bikes was also quite bad. While they provided boxes for transport to our hotel (that was good, therefore the 1 star), the tools for disassembly were missing! To add insult to injury, our inquiries regarding reimbursement were met with aggressive and disrespectful responses.
Companies like this only damage the good services that small businesses provide in the Spanish tourism.
I hope that you choose a different provider when cycling in the Basque Country and have a better experience than we did.

Como dos ingenieros y un médico, nos aseguramos de apoyar el turismo local reservando con pequeñas agencias locales cuando viajamos. Por eso optamos por Basque Country Bike. Sin embargo, nuestra experiencia con ellos fue más que decepcionante.
Una de las 3 bicicletas fue entregada con un engranaje visiblemente roto (ver foto), lo que nos obligó a detenernos varias veces para arreglarlo durante el viaje. A pesar de notificar inmediatamente a Basque Country Bike, respondieron después de 1.5 días de manera muy despectiva, echándonos la culpa y ofreciendo ninguna solución más allá de un casual "mala suerte" y algunas fotos de una tienda de bicicletas en Santander.
Devolver las bicicletas fue de nuevo una pelea. Aunque proporcionaron cajas para transportarlas a nuestro hotel (lo cual fue bueno, por eso la estrella), ¡faltaban las herramientas para desmontarlas! Para empeorar las cosas, nuestras consultas sobre el reembolso recibieron respuestas agresivas y faltas de respeto.
Empresas como ésta solo dañan los buenos servicios que ofrecen las pequeñas empresas en el turismo español.
Te recomiendo elegir un proveedor diferente cuando hagas ciclismo en el País Vasco y tengas una mejor experiencia que la nuestra.
