点评:We visited Bukchon Hanok Village as part of our city tour with Jessie at MySeoulTrip. The area is essentially a neighbourhood filled with traditional hanoks, but it’s clear this is now a high-end residential area—evidenced by the luxury cars parked throughout.
The village is quite lovely and visually appealing, with a handful of local shops and cafes. It’s a nice place to walk around and admire the traditional architecture, but it definitely isn't a must see/visit.
Our guide mentioned that there are strict rules in place due to the increasing number of tourists, which can be disruptive to locals. It’s worth keeping that in mind and being respectful of the residents while visiting. I definitely wouldn't live there given the constant hordes of tourists.
Bukchon Hanok Village offers a glimpse of traditional Korean architecture in a modern, posh setting. It’s a good pit stop if you’re in the area but not something I’d go out of my way for.
