Messingham Zoo的点评
点评：I think ‘small animal sanctuary’ better describes the Messingham Zoo.
It’s not cheap given it’s £12 for adults and £9 for kids.
The animals are all pretty underwhelming (think ferrets, otters, lemurs, pigs). None of them looked particularly stimulated and as several are nocturnal not suited to a daytime park.
The ‘zoo’ itself is very small. Maybe half a football field.
It takes 45 minutes to an hour to walk around at a very slow pace. It looks tired and down by the heel despite the entrance fee. The car park is a bellwether for the park itself being rough and ready.
The cafe and gift shop are very underwhelming and generally a poor experience.
I’d also question any attraction where the majority of trip advisor ratings are from single review contributors!
