Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History--an absolute 'must' for all!

点评：I was told in advance about this incredible museum, and planned my days in Philadelophia to take in their rather limited open days and hours (Thurs thru Sun).
It has one of the most prime locations in Philadelphia's Historic District--just a few steps from my hotel (Wyndham Historic District), and Independence Hall / Liberty Bell. It is totally FREE ADMISSION, though they're happy that we leave donations in the box that's there to receive them. In 4 exhibit floors, using the most-modern museum technology, it traces the history of Jews in America, from the early days of colonization, through Independence, and on to modern times. Just in the lobby, there's a constantly-changing slide show with narration, tracing the imprints of Jewish figures in all spheres of life, over the last ~300 years.
A definite 'must' for your experience in Philadelphia--highly recommended.
