Park with a beach and many interesting features
桂濱的点评
点评：Wednesday 7th May we visited this Park, was the first stop on our Kochi Sightseeing Tour.
It is not a National Park, however, it is a scenic beach area in Kochi City, Japan, known for its beautiful coastline and notable features.
From the Port it was only a short distance, 6 kilometres, in fact we could see our ship in the Port from here.
We did visit number of the points of interest here, the first was the very large Sakamoto Ryoma Statue. Our Guide led us to down to the Statue and from that point we were free to wander and explore.
From the statue we walked down the steps on to the picturesque Katsurahama Beach. The crescent shaped beach curves around the coast for 500 metres. It is not permitted to swim here due to strong currents and high waves of the Pacific Ocean. There are signs dotted around the Beach informing visitors of the dangers.
There is a pathway that runs along the back of the beach which also led off to the Katsurahama Aquarium. Along the way we passed the Ryuogu Shinkyo Completion Monument.
Continuing along the pathway we crossed Ryugu Bridge and climbed up the steps up to the clifftop to Cape Ryuoh. There are two Shrines up there, Hayataka Shrine and
Watatsumi Shrine
Along a pathway, surrounded by trees is the Monument in memory of Keigetsu Omachi.
Most of the points of interest listed above have been reviewed separately.
We did set off climbing the steps through the trees to see Kochi lighthouse, however due to time constraints we had to abort our mission.
There is a Tourist information centre along with Katsurahama Umi-no Terrace shopping centre with several restaurants and shops.
Nearby is the Sakamoto Ryoma Memorial Museum.
There were a number of walking routes around the park and other things to see, we just ran out of time.

这里设有旅游信息中心，以及桂滨海之露台购物中心，内设多家餐厅和商店。
附近还有坂本龙马纪念馆。
公园周围有许多步行路线和其他景点可供参观，但我们只是没有时间。
