The Granary is an excellent base for Corbridge. Karen and Simon are wonderful hosts,

点评：The Granary is light,spacious and warm, either from sunshine from the huge picture window in the upstairs living, or from the underfloor heating (wood burner available too) with wood on tap from Simon’s tree management stock.
We had endless hours taking in the view of Devils Water,walking down into the private acres, sitting in the private seating area or just doing nothing in silence.
A complete relaxation opportunity or not with Newcastle a train ride away.
The Granary is well stocked with kitchen equipment if you that way inclined, quality fixtures and fittings everywhere else too.
The bedrooms are quiet, even with a duck pond close by and resident geese.
The patio is adjacent to The Duck houses patio, but a clever use of the original gin gan shields you from each other.
We will be returning in 2025.
(Unfortunately our felting course was cancelled due to tutor having Covid, it was our choice to defer, but we still were enthralled by the workshop area and the shop open to residents. We’re awaiting the course details for 2025 in anticipation)
