Fairytale At Sea的点评
点评：Absolutely fantastic 2 hour trip today with Halldoʻr and 3 others. Initial brief on plan for the trip, how to use the jetski and safety before being fully kitted out with warm inner onesy, full dry suit with integrated footwear, outer water boots and gloves and off out into the grey cloudy day.
A little trip along the coastline practicing use of jetski, a pause to see a couple of seals and a waterfall as per plan when a nearby pod of dolphins caused a change of plan.
Initially racing to get close to them and then riding with them in front, alongside and even underneath us. They seemed to be playing with us and having fun - though I doubt it was as unforgettable an experience for them as it was for my son and I. In the distance playful "teenagers" could be seen leaping out of the water but then "behaving" themselves when we and their parents got closer. Had to break off and head back to shore with a quick but unsuccessful search for Minke Whales.
But that didn't matter. I know we were very lucky to get what we got with the dolphins and every tour will be different, but the excellent guiding, beautiful scenery, opportunity to open up the jet ski and chance to witness the abundance of nature that Iceland has to offer come with every trip.
I thoroughly recommend taking a tour with Fairytale at Sea. Certainly lived up to its name today.
