点评：I was excited to find out you can walk across! I followed the crowd from the Woodlands train checkpoint where security is up to the bus queue when I saw a sign for pedestrians, and I confirmed with the agent that I can walk. He said yes but pointed to the buses and said I could also take a bus. I told him I wanted to walk, he said it would be about 30 minutes which was spot on. It was very hot, the path is in direct sunlight. The first half of the walk, coming from the Singapore side, has a sidewalk elevated from the road, then I reached a small tent with some officers in it. I showed them my passport then noticed that the sidewalk disappeared. One of them pointed ahead and said to follow the buses. There’s still technically a lane but it’s not elevated and it’s thinner. The cars and buses eventually split off getting to the terminal, and I missed this so I had to walk up to the bus stop to go through customs. A little confusing, didn’t really feel unsafe as traffic goes slowly, but a nice walk.
