点评：Dammika was recommended to us eight years ago on our last trip to Sri Lanka and he looked after us very well.
This time we booked him for all of our transport needs, from the airport to Kumu Beach in Balapitiya, then a week later he met us in Colombo and drove us five hours up to the Ceylon Tea Trails near Hatton. He stayed nearby as we were there three nights then took us down to Hikkaduwa. And from there to Mirissa.
Every journey we felt safe, he's a very good calm driver and was always on time. He provided water and offered stops for photography, drinks and washrooms. While he struggled a bit with our Scottish accents he never stopped smiling and made every effort to ensure we were comfortable and happy. At one stage we mentioned we'd like to see elephants and he offered us a day tour from Mirissa to Udawalawe. We were picked up on time by one of his friends, driven up to the National Park and he'd organised a jeep safari with a driver and a guide - we had the best day and saw many wonderful sights including crocodiles, water buffalo, land monitors and some incredible birds as well as dozens of beautiful elephants living very natural lives. After our tour of almost three hours we were offered lunch at a nearby restaurant - three course buffet for less than £6.00. It was really lovely. Sadly we had to get back to our hotel so couldn't stay to see the feeding of the baby elephants (included) but we had a fabulous day and Dammika checked in throughout the day to make sure everything was to our liking. He is a first class tour operator and when we return next year we will be using him once again, we're already planning our itinerary! 😄
