点评:Car parking for blue badge holders was always free in this car park. I went one Sunday morning to pick up a suitcase I’d ordered from TJs. The car park was completely empty and I parked in the disabled bay directly outside TJ’s with my blue badge in the windscreen. I got my wheelchair out, went into TJs, picked up the suitcase and returned to the car. The car park was still completely empty and I had been less than 10 minutes between pulling up and assembling my wheelchair and the reverse. This was in 2022. In 2025 I received a letter from DCBL advising me that I was being taken to the small claims court for non-payment of parking charge. I had received 1 letter previously and wrote to them explaining the car park was always free for blue badge holders and it was completely empty the whole 10 minutes I was there. I never received a reply so assumed it was cancelled and then this! I phoned up and was told I could settle out of court for £220! I’m on PIP and certainly can’t afford that. I’m now waiting for the CCJ to come through as I wrote a defence to the court and it was rejected
