Highly recommend a full day class for the whole experience

点评：This was such a fabulous day! We learned heaps, we got to participate in the process of making our own jewellery (not the hard bits like soldering, but we did hammering, torching, filing etc.), and we had excellent one-on-one instruction. Because the design we chose (jellyfish earrings) used about 14g of silver, it was a whole day of instruction and making, and it included a lovely Balinese lunch! At the end, my friend and I had some beautiful earrings, some amazing experiences, and a much better understanding of the amount of work that goes into making a piece of jewellery. The cost was about AU$150 each for the full day and, as I mentioned, that included lunch. The premises, display areas, workshops and the class area are all very nice and modern. About 80 people work here and you can see some of the silversmiths and jewellery makers at work in the workshops. Highly recommend! It may be more expensive than some places, but you certainly get bang for your buck AND a lovely piece of jewellery to take home, all in beautiful premises.
